Past Times

Pre-decimalisation (before 1971) you could still occasionally come across well-worn pennies, bearing the portrait of Queen Victoria. I found these three today whilst going through the contents of an old box. It also contained a match box which at the time could have been purchased with the three pennies! It's interesting that the sound that these old pennies make against each other is very different to modern coins.
