New Deck

We've had this lovely young man Gregoire, from France, with us for almost a month now.  He and Terry have been so busy for the past 2 weeks replacing the deck at the Spruce Cabin....it has been a long and tricky job, and absolutely hellish in terms of blackflies!!!   Poor Gregoire is not familiar with these little bastards....and has suffered!   But today they got it all finished - and this was the first time i'd been down there to see what was going on!   I've been so preoccupied, since returning from my trip out west, with getting a glaze kiln on (which i did today...woo hoo) that i haven't done much else around here!

The new deck looks fabulous - and just in time for the next guests who arrive Friday!

Nothing much else to report other than i'm giving myself a couple of days away from the studio :)
