It's a spring thing.......

...in the middle of winter!  Narcissus in bloom, monarchs on the wing, blue skies and sunshine....but we're still a good 7 or 8 weeks from the start of spring.  The weather has been turned on its head.

Had a lovely ride with M this morning.  We opted for a bit more than the usual town loop today and headed in the opposite direction to Brightwater.  Threw in the Mt Heslington loop just because we could.  Gorgeous countryside out that way, lovely company and, despite being a bit nippy at the start, lovely riding weather.  40kms all up so a solid effort.

Headed to town in the afternoon for one small job.  Since I had to reset my phone a few weeks ago I keep discovering things that still need to be reset.  Today's was the Building Society app.  Unbelievably, I could not reset my password on the app but was required to go into town and do it face to face with a teller!  Seems like a pretty counter-progressive system!  Still, it's done now which is the main thing.

Today would have been dad's 91st birthday.  I still feel that he was taken too early and robbed of his last good years as he had so much energy and life still in him.  The extra is a special pic for dad xx
