Wound up in Wexford

By Neatwithice

Barely warm enough

My lower back/buttock pain was quite bad again this morning, resulting in a change of plans.  The original intention had been for us all to go to Kilkenny, but I was clearly not going to be able to walk around much.  Unfortunately, the hire car isn't big enough for all three adults and three children.

So in the end Z and S (plus Casper, of course) went off to Kilkenny city, where they seem to have had a lovely day, including spending some time in a pub watching the All Ireland Hurling semi-final, between County Kilkenny and County Clare.

I took R and the boys to Enniscorthy, and whilst I (slowly) pottered round the supermarket and did a bit of shopping, they walked round the town, and down to the riverside, where there's a great playground.

I joined them there, and we sat in lovely sunshine.  Messages were sent to W to set up the paddling pool.

Sadly, by the time we got home, it was clouding over, and the wind had got up.  But there was some water play, some car play, and some car and water play.  Robin did briefly actually get in the water, but it was just too cold.
