Time to celebrate!

From today we are no longer registered partners - we're married. So much nicer!

Registered partnership sounds like some kind of business agreement. Marriage is, at least to us, something much more romantic.

The Swedish law was changed from the 1st of May, making this possible for us and for other same-sex-couples. Not a day too early! We chose this particular day to "move on to marriage" because we liked the date: 2009-06-09. We became registered partners 2005-09-09.
