Water avens

Pleased to be home for a long weekend after a very busy week.

The pond is looking lovely now (despite the algae). These water avens had finished flowering when I planted them last year so it has been nice to see what they look like. The colours on them are lovely and their demure habit of keeping their heads down is unusual.

Off for the weekend tomorrow. Husband has been busy sorting out a little jaunt while I've been away. Looking forward to it.
