Loch Tollaidh

So today was another glorious day in the North West Highlands. After yesterday's big day out in the Torridon hills, we decided to spend the day doing some low level cragging. We headed around to the fabulous Loch Tollaidh Crags north of Gairloch. Having parked up, MrsB pointed out that I'd somehow selected a north facing crag on such a sunny and beautiful day. Opps! Luckily is didn't matter too much as the sun soon go high enough in the sky to be beating down on us.

There are some fantastic routes at Loch Tollaidh, and it was great to finally blow away the winter cobwebs and get out on some rock. As it was the first outdoor rock of the season we didn't climb anything too difficult.

Stop off in Gairloch on the way back to Torridon for supplies and an ice cream (well we are on holiday!).

(Should be pointed out that this photo of me starting up "After Eight" was taken by MrsB, not me!)
