From up high.....

Lucky enough to see the magnificent sight of Mt Ngauruhoe (central North Island), a volcanic cone that was New Zealand's most active volcano in the 20th century with 45 eruptions, the most recent in 1977.

We were on a flight to the city of Rotorua, renowned for its geothermal activity (in extras).
