Gambel's Quail Family

I stalk these guys.  I can't tell you how many blurry photos I have of these speedy little birds.

This is the best I've ever gotten.  I took it through the open passenger window of my car, as I let it creep along to follow them.  They were moving parallel to the road then  suddenly they were scooting away.  

It was worth every second.
