Church Flowers

This morning I had a dental appointment. In going around town doing jobs and using up time I met a lady from Liverpool who wants to meet me again the next time she comes here! We exchanged phone numbers.

This afternoon I went down to church as it was the second of my weeks doing church flowers. Normally the ones I did last week would have been enough but, tomorrow, we are holding a Macmillan coffee morning so I bought some more.

What happens is you refresh the water in the vases, throw out the dead flowers from last week, and do whatever is necessary to make a nice arrangement. We used to have ladies who did this and all we had to do was give money. I will have to work on my skills!
