First snow of the season
This morning I woke to see the first snow of this season on Ben Vorlich. It’s barely visible in this photo taken a few hours later because it had already started to melt.
As for the jackdaw, it is one of a flock that flies daily between two oak trees, one at the bottom of our garden and the other of our neighbours. Finally, I worked out the reason. They are eating acorns and flitting one tree to the other, often with the acorn in their mouths
