Whoosh!

I opened the curtains and there it was ......another day with colour in the sky -- and  a con trail.
That was when I saw that the resident spider has laid another clutch of eggs (the first lot hasn't hatched and isn't likely to now). It was also when I managed to take the picture of the cushion on the chair whilst zooming the lens (not deliberate).

The flowers were about to go to the compost when I realised that the red roses were still good for another day (or maybe 2), so cut them done and stuck them in a bottle and plonked it on the windowsill ....... and then took more pictures while they were in the sun. They were bought two weeks ago while reduced on there 'sell by' date so they have done really well.

There have been a couple of trips to the shops ......... and then a third - for food supplies for No.1 Son and family.
That meant we HAD to go and see them when they arrived at the Air B&B.
What a pair of nutters those two girls are.
