Today was quite a sad day. Every Friday I help out at the hospice furniture store. This involves collecting items that people have donated. Our first appointment this morning was a house clearance. An old gentleman, who had no family had died, and the housing association had invited us to take any items of furniture and household items that we could sell. All of the gentleman's possessions were still in the drawers and cupboards. These included many photographs that will now just be destroyed. His legacy will be that the money raised will go to help fund the work that the hospice does.

It is Father's Day this weekend. These photographs show my Dad, my son and me at our First Communion.
