A Birthday Trip

It was The Man's birthday today so we made a change from our usual garden centres and went down to Ambleside.

First we went on beyond the town to Waterhead where we took a few shots of the lake. The Man also photographed black-headed gulls and their rings. Next on to Hayes to be wowed by the huge hall of Christmas decorations.

After all that excitement, The B-I-L came back to ours for a meal waiting for us in the slow-cooker.
