Happy Daddy Day!

Up and out early, on duty all morning doing PA, home late after set-down, and then an afternoon spent juggling children and a chicken dinner with me.

I took the boys out to the shop after church as we needed bread, and ended up buying a Superman toy for Bean and a Superman teeshirt for Steve - I meant to get pyjamas for him but brain evidently still wasn't quite in gear and ended up with just a teeshirt. Still, he looks cute in it! Our superman - Bean gave him the teeshirt when we got in and said "you're my superman, Daddy" :D :D :D Steve seems to have done quite well out of Father's Day this year. Three cards (one from Bean and two from Bear), a canvas from Bear, a picture and a wall hanging from Bean, his teeshirt, and a sparkly collage contact paper mobile thing that he's been very sporting about wearing around his neck all afternoon. Oh and a chicken dinner (which he had to help cook!)!

It was a GORgeous chicken dinner though (I can't remember the last time we had a roast dinner on a Sunday). Bean ate three sausages and quite a lot of roast potatoes (hah - he didn't think he'd like them, then kept coming back for more), Bear ate a whole load of chicken (fresh roast chicken is probably his most favourite food of all), and they both fell asleep quickly on their evening drive ;)

Steve finally got round to buying a card reader for Bean's camera (it cost more than the camera, unbelievably!) so Bean has been pretty excited about getting his pictures off his camera! It's a really old digital camera and only has 8 frames available at any one time, but he loves taking pictures on it. This is his version of today's photo!
