Sally Mair - Loving life

Small Works

The little one was with us again for most of today. She takes it so well, it's lovely how content she is. At the moment she is fascinated by little people, mainly Duplo, and animals. She spends ages sorting them and arranging and combining. She likes to fit as many as possible onto small vehicles preferably seated. This tortoise is a particular favourite. Her comment after positioning the baby was that it was 'very cute' Grandma.
I love to watch her hands . She was very happy when she woke after her afternoon nap, to find that not only mummy but daddy and grandpa too had all arrived while she was asleep.
Tomorrow Ali and I are taking her for her chickenpox vaccine, it seems a good idea as this is the age when her cousins and mum and aunty all had it. Nobody needs to be that itchy if it can be avoided. I still have scars on my face.
Hopefully any side effects from this or the second dose will be over by the New Year.
It's the last Friday of the month today so the Scottish National Galleries Art Quiz was published today. I was delighted to get full marks10 out of 10. I'm on a roll as I also got Wordle in 2.
See how you get on, here is the link to the quiz
