Tui in flax

Camera Club Christmas do today, an event we share with Motueka CC.  We met first at the Flaxmore vineyard to wander and photograph.......and taste the host's produce of course!  Lovely area which which was once apple orchards but times change, as do the crops.  Found myself at the 'pond' enjoying a chat with a couple of other members when this tui arrived, with a face full of the joys of pollen.  Couldn't resist posting him.  See extras for other vineyard shots.

Dinner was held at the nearby Moutere Inn - NZ's oldest pub.  Great turnout and great conversations, and a great meal we had too!
