Cinnamon Cindy

Light as a feather she sways in the wind,
Her fragrance of cinnamon fills the air,
Pink little buds shelter under her skirts,
As drifts of smoke form a light mist.

Delicate white petals smothered in raindrops,
Dainty and light against her dark glossy leaves,
She quietly opens in the cold winter rain,
Cinnamon Cindy is her name.

Cold, wet and dreary as winter takes a grip, snow forecasted down to low levels which meant everyone was at the supermarket. It was madness at 9.30 this morning, no bread, low on eggs, no broccoli and little fish, the day had hardly started - mum and I were pleased to get out of there.

Enjoying looking out on my garden, looking so fresh and green in the rain with tiny miniature flowers from Cinnamon Cindy scattered down the fence line. Now its time to draw the curtains and settle in for the night - wonder if the snow will come, only time will tell.

Happy Wednesday everyone :)
