A Meeting

In our prestigious clubhouse. The harbour secretary laying out his findings on the impact of Storm Babet so we can discuss how such events in future may be less catastrophic. 
Later we started on decorating the house. With Christmas nonsense, not paint or anything. And through west, the famous Hearts were recording their first league win at Parkhead since 2007. What a dire statistic. Acceptable if Hearts were a minnow of a team but we’re Scotland’s 3rd or 4th biggest club. Who would pay to watch such a farce?
Later we watched an even bigger football farce, a film: Stasi FC, though this was more amusing - how the East German Stasi got involved in football with the result that Berliner FC Dynamo won ten in a row. “Controversial refereeing decisions in favour of BFC Dynamo gave rise to speculation that the dominance of BFC Dynamo was not solely due to athletic performance, but also due to help from referees”
