Fairy

Just Joe and Esme remaining today and the uncles were missed. A few ups and downs as it was the last full day with us - and that was just the adults! Wild and blustery but we went to the post to send uncle Will a card, had a jump around in the sensory garden in Durrus, ate blueberry muffins, did more artiness, played endless snakes and ladders and dinosaur bingo and ran round the fairy walk, pirouetting all the way. Esme demanded three stories at bedtimes but conked out after one. A big day ahead for both of them tomorrow - Joe heading back to New Zealand via Heathrow where Esme is being met to go on to France for 10 days!  As she noted: I'm having three Christmases!  Phew!
It's going to be a tough day all round.
