Bla Bheinn

First of a group of Skye and Aviemore back blips...

This view is one of the reasons I love coming back to Skye time and again (the mountain being Bla Bheinn, a Cuillin 'outlyer' and one we walked up on our last visit). And no, I didn't go hunting for this shot, it's the view out of the front window of the cottage we rent when here (4th time out of 7 trips in the last 7 years).

It all almost started in disaster though. Having stayed here so often we hadn't read the cottage instructions and it turned out that the front door key was now left much more securely in a coded box. And we didn't have the code...

A lack of mobile coverage here is wonderful, but it made calls to our housesitter (Mel's dad) slightly trickier. Still, we got inwithout too much delay, and after the leisurely drive up from Edinburgh we just settled in for some good food, wine and beer.

Aaaaaand... Relax....
