Summer

Sea, sand and espadrilles. Although the sea was a bit chilly today, only 16 degrees C, we did swim for a few minutes.

PS to yesterday's fire story: about 30 hectares of garrigue - wild scrub land - was burnt, no one was working in the nearby vines and the fire was stopped before it reached the house in my photo. It took 80 firefighters, 4 water-carrying planes and two spotter planes to put the fire out. How brave these people are on our behalf!
