Monaco sundown

After (another) paint-filled day I opted for a quick trip to Monaco when the sun began to sink.  With no clouds it was a bit of a fizzer but lovely nevertheless.  Got talking to the kingfisher hosts who told me the youngsters were last seen about a week ago...........darn.......missed them!  There's a remote chance the parents may have a second brood but no-one's holding their breath.  I was told that far more interesting, (though rather worrying) things were going on across the water.  If you look closely you will see 2 yachts moored just to the left of the island.  One of these boats belongs to an an older guy who has been 'inviting' young backpackers to stay to stay aboard for free.  Very, very dodgy.  Turns out almost the whole neighbourhood has been watching him and the coast guard has made several visits to him.   I expect he'll be moved along tomorrow.
