Skogafoss falls - Iceland day 7

A day of largely driving today, but we started at The Skogafoss falls (interesting to note, the viewing platform, at the top of the falls to the right had not been built last year!) We climbed to the top and walked along the river a way. The sheer size of these falls is impossible to express in a photo. 200 feet high, and loads of spray (keeping cameras / people dry almost impossible.) The little figure at the foot of the falls might give a clue as to its size! We looked over the really interesting Skogar museum, which had truly old Icelandic houses schools and a church.

Then the long drive back to Reykjavik - gave us all a chance to catch up on a lack of sleep and the cumulative effect of too many late night shoots.
