Hamnøy

Today we took the group to Hamnøy, Sakrisøy and Reine. The weather forecast looked rather promising, but unfortunately none of that materialised. We ended up with a lot of rain instead. This meant that we were finished with the locations for the day when it was only just after lunchtime. We then also visited the viewpoint over the Fredvang bridges and went to Ramberg for something to drink, after which we ended the day at the combined beaches of Brunstranda and Skagsanden. Near Ramberg, we stopped at a place where the stockfish are hanging to dry. With the current weather it seems unlikely that much drying will be done, but I'm sure the people in Norway know what they're doing as they have been doing this for ages.

This shot is the classic view of Hamnøy from the bridge. In the extras a shot of Brunstranda and the stockfish.
