Crawling

A journey of around two hundred kilometres back to Dar es Salaam that should have taken around three hours but which took about eight. Pulling over to join calls by the roadside, wasting time at a bus station halfway because one of the group had left Morogoro with their hotel key and it needed to be sent back, blockages on bridges because traffic was stopped to allow bigwigs to drive unfettered, stops to buy tomatoes, endless lines of lorries and a generally worsening mood.
