The Pensioner

Another totally random photo

Down to Marina Rubicon to peruse the market stalls. In truth, I did very little perusing as it looked like the same old stuff and was mobbed anyway. But blimey, what a wind. It felt like it would blow the roof of the sky off.
After, we sheltered out the blow and read (Jeremy Bowen’s The Making of the Modern Middle East has my attention) and listened to a very fabulous podcast in the BBC Legends series about Joni Mitchell. In between naps. Oh, yes, and then there was rugby! And Scotland, after toying with the English pack by giving them a ten point lead, did the business. Four Calcutta Cups in a row?? This is very unusual.
