Let the moon hang low

It being a bit overcast we paced along to the marina where we once again met up with PT. For coffees this time; the G&Ts being given a wide swerve.
Back for a final afternoon - and the skies turned blue, the wind dropped away and the swimming pool was invitingly refreshing. And a new book - on the kindle this time. My Own Worst Enemy by Robert Edric about his childhood in Sheffield. Born just a few months before me, he brings those years to life so very well. But his surroundings and in particular his toupee wearing father were from a different planet.
We sat out as long as we could. Packing can wait till the morning.
