A bit of a lazy day; changed the oils and filter, got the boat over to the mooring and then spent a couple of hours helping Keil step his mast.
After that it was up to the Roots & Folk Club for the usual hoedown. What about that Toots, though? What a raver!
And here's AS - he's been learning the pedal steel for some time and this was his debut before his fawning public. And it was his 40th a couple of days back - these two events may not be entirely coincidental of course. There comes a time in every man's life when he needs to decide where he can best make his mark, his scratch in the weathered stone that says, I was here. As Russell Crowe would say, my name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, Commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions and a bit of a whizz, if I say so myself, on the old pedal steel, didn't you know?
