2024 Wednesday — Sundown

The sun seemed to lose its shape as it dropped into/behind the atmosphere this evening. Lots of moisture was in the air today, so a milky veil of haze caused the sky colors to be a bit different all day and certainly at sundown.

Sundown is happening an hour later than last week at this time because Daylight Savings Time happened this past weekend. So our evening meal is happening at about the same time on the clock as when we’d eat last weekend, but my body says, “I’m not hungry.” At 5 pm my body thinks it is 4:00.

This evening the waves are loud and so we’re mildly curious about the weather and if a change is happening.

This has been a pleasantly uneventful day. We walked this afternoon in Del Mar Park in Morro Bay before making a quick stop at the library (really to use the bathroom, Mr.Fun takes Lasix), but we browsed thru the Friends of the Library store and each of us spent a couple dollars. Next a brief stop at the grocery store and then home. I prepared tacos for dinner with low sodium corn tortillas warmed in the oven rather than heated and formed in hot olive oil into a taco shell.
