Out with N-Photo

The editor of N-Photo magazine is spending a couple of nights with us, with a reader (and new Blipper - Dave HW), to do one of their "apprentice" articles. (Although sadly, I don't get to say "you're fired!").

So today was our shooting day, and it decided to pour with rain all day. We started at Buttermere, went on to Lanthwaite woods at Crummock, where we took this, and finished the day by Castlerigg stone circle. We all ended soaked to the skin, but with a remarkably good set of photos, ran out of lens wipes, I ended up holding a plastic bag over Dave's camera, counting him down, and lifting the bag clear of the lens for just long enough to get a shot.

Despite the weather, I think Dave learned a load, and had a great time. He was a great guy, never once moaned about the weather, and stuck at it to produce good pictures.

It was odd having someone else continuously taking pictures of us, and odder that we sometimes drew a small crowd who just stood and stared at us.
