Rain all day

The respite in the later afternoon was silent and golden.

I made a meal in the evening. Salad with heritage tomatoes which were a range of colours plus thinly sliced and dried duck meat. Main course was Averyron style lentils with aubergine ratatouille and a selection of local duck sausages and merguez (sp?) sausages. I’m not going to explain the chocolate fondant deserts as they were shop bought sadly and ridiculous in their assembly. They tasted good though but too much plastic packaging.

It’s been a very calm stay and restful evening though the weather has been a bit mixed. Great food and wine has been enjoyed and quality time spent chatting and enjoying company.
