Here's looking at you

My Mum claims to have never seen a praying mantis before, and while she is extremely scared of any kind of insect, she was actually quite fascinated when I showed her one on the roses today. She asked me to take a couple of photos, which I happily did, but I didn't realise until I looked at them on a bigger screen that the praying mantis was looking straight at me in this one.
