… A quiet day in!

All kinds of weather here today; sun (nice sun), wind, rain (oh RAIN!) and even a whiftering of snow and, as I write, thumping hail.

‘And there you have it’, as one of the Elderlies says (about most things).

Does it feel like Saturday to everyone? Or just me?

I must book a hearing test.
We were on the A515 yesterday (where, when very new to the area, we had braved a snow forecast in order to go to a concert. We would not do so again. We were caught out and were very lucky to get home that night. The snow very quickly makes the road unpassable).
Anyway, the temperature dropped quite suddenly. (You can see it happen on the dashboard).
‘Oh no.. It’s fickle, like The Young ‘Uns all over again..’, said Himself (referring to the weather, and the concert).
I pondered (because, as we know, fools rush in).
No.
I had to make a guess.
(Why do we give it a shot? When we know it’s going to be wrong??)
‘Pickled onions all over again?’

The wine forecast is ‘gentle’.
