2024 — Good Friday

Today is Good Friday. Do you know why the focus on the Cross is amazing? When I was a youngster, I couldn't even imagine why anyone would refer to the day Jesus died as "Good." Then we met Tim & Sandy Coop and they encouraged us to take a closer look, and we did.

So years ago the two of us started to understand the beauty of the cross, the Cross of Jesus. Mr. Fun & I took a moment to "pause" and consider Jesus Christ; all the evidence of His death, His burial, and His resurrection has changed our entire lives. Have you considered His Cross?

The ground at the foot of the cross is level. We all come to Jesus's cross as equals, as sinners. We all remain at His cross as equals; people who have been forgiven. None of us can achieve forgiveness; it is a gift that Jesus gives us. I thank God for the Cross. When we see a cross, we are glad; it is a symbol, a reminder, that Jesus paid our way so we can have forever, eternity, in Heaven with God. Do you know Jesus? When you get to the other side of life, will you be invited into Heaven?
