A day out

We've had a lovely day out.

B had booked a table for brunch at a cafe in Den Haag - he and W had eggs benedict, I had their slightly odd interpretation of an English breakfast.

We then meandered through some scenic parts of Den Haag, where, amongst other things, we found a shop selling gin (and other spirits) open on Easter Sunday.  We bought several bottles.

We then caught a tram to Delft, where we had another pleasant meander.  The blip is on the approach to the Central Square, with the Stadhuis on the right and the "New Church" in the distance.

After our meander, we went to a coffee house, just getting there in time to avoid the rain shower, where W and B had pancakes, but I (having had a bigger breakfast) just had a bite of W's pancake and a coffee.  

Then a tram back to B's house.

We anticipate a relaxing morning tomorrow before catching the afternoon ferry from Hoek van Holland to Harwich.
