A day in the life

Banks and hairdos

I love his hairdo, he was struggling a bit in the windy weather but still looking smart.

All morning I was in a bank-meeting, my decision to change from the large bank in town to a small local bank here on Öland has finally got going and I had a constructive meeting with Annika, my contact at the Öland bank who makes sure every penny gets transferred a bit closer to me. In the end I felt that the huge bank isolated itself to the point where I got the feeling they rather didn't want anything to do with me. If I wanted advice or to see anyone at the bank, I had to book long in advance, the person I was seeing had to open a security door to let me in and escort me out again afterwards. It got more and more difficult to reach anyone at the bank by phone, if so, I had to wait half hours to get through. The last drop was when they removed the possibility to contact the bank directly and replaced it with an AI instead, who never could answer any of my questions. Now, I have a direct number on a card, to a human in the bank,  given to me in my hand by the human herself. And a smile.
