Tuesday: Krleza

Zagreb has a pretty good array of sculptures, and not of the olde-worlde type either.  They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes - here is one that I pass every day as I drive to and from work.  It is a sculpture of the Croatian writer, Miroslav Krleza - I don't think he really looked like this, but I can see a, sort of similarity.

Well, I suppose I had better pull myself together and do my Croatian homework.  Honestly, my teacher must have the patience of a saint.  There can't be many students she has taught who have learnt so little in a such a long time......I hold the Croatians entirely responsible - they just shouldn't be so good at English!
