GATHERINGS IN THE PARK

There were a couple of coot families, some ducklings, plenty of gulls, and a large wedding party using the gardens as a backdrop for their photographs (extra). I admired the bridesmaids' fortitude as the temperature was about 8 deg and there was no chance of hiding a thermal vest under those dresses! On a more mischievous note, second extra shows another photo I took of them without noticing the aim of the statue on the Boer War memorial, top left. Shotgun wedding.
