Trousers

Mr Squeers could only manage half his rabbit. He flopped down   exhausted after his latest hunting expedition.
Cats eat the heads of their prey first, because that's where the  major nutrients are, followed by the entrails.

During WW2 when my parents were living on a low income in a very rural area of Wales they were grateful for these  furry 'trousers', as they called them, donated by the cats. My father was a dab hand at Chinese cookery which requires only small amounts of meat to create a mouth-watering dish, so no trousers were wasted.
(Nor were these: the dog had them.)
