My pet tortoise

We tidied up at my mum's house, then went to my aunty's flat to do final checks there, and took a donation of clothing to the local charity shop, before heading for home. 
Back in Winchester, more sorting out in readiness for loft insulation guys coming on Friday. Found a box of my old school books, including one from infants school when I was aged 6. My pet then was Peter, and still is nearly sixty years later!!
According to another entry in this school  book there were 39 children in my class of 6-7 year olds, to just one teacher. She had her work cut out with no teaching assistants or other adults to help her.
