The Double

We left home at 5.30 AM and arrived home again at 9 pm. 

We have spent the day at a Dog Dancing Show  - our last competition before the World Championship. 

All 3 boys worked really well and I am very pleased with them, but Gollum did something extraordinary. He did "the double", which means that he won both of the Advanced Classes - the Advanced Heelwork To Music and the Advanced Canine Freestyle. 

I managed to win both classes back in February too, but with 2 different dogs. This time it was with the same dog in both classes. 

Gollum has worked in Heelwork To Music since he was young, but he only started his Freestyle career last year and it was only the 2nd time he competed in the Advanced Class, so Ihadn't expected a win. 

Xmas placed 2nd in the class, so I also got to experience having two dogs first in the class. 

Tango placed 2nd in the Novice Freestyle with a lovely performance.
