First Contact

We’d the final Sunday league tenpin match of the season this afternoon and managed to beat the runaway league leaders and ensure second place. Not half bad - unlike my own performance which was half bad, half decent!
The forecast rain didn’t appear so I then nipped up to finish the grass strimming at the allotment and where the first seed potatoes have broken through. Planted them three weeks ago so that’s pretty good considering how cold it’s been. I’ve been worried about a late frost setting them back but, touch wood, that hasn’t happened.
Big news on the football front by the way where the Jambos have reached a cup final; well done the Hearts Women’s team!
