Tuesday: Deep Bed

We had beautiful blue skies, MrD decided to jet wash the paving behind the garage and the part between the house and the garage, using the rain water collected from the garage roof. 

I’d noticed that our little mountain was disappearing under a thin mist, by midday the mist was down to sea level and we had a very misty few hours.

I transplanted some lamb’s lettuce into the raised bed behind the garage which has become a strawberry bed, winter salad area and wildflower area as I’ve been transplanting various seedlings over the past few weeks. Maybe there will be more colour in a few weeks time …

Watched the last episode of Death in Paradise Series 12 and the Christmas Special as well … MrD enjoyed them too :-))


MrD saw the bats this evening, must be warm enough for them to wake up!
