Our Day Out

I spent the morning doing the mundane daily chores, just in an RV. Then it was time to finally see the movie “Unsung Hero.” If you get the opportunity, you should go see it. My sister and I had hoped to go together but we were both so busy last week, we could not find a day or time that worked. The theater was called “Cinema Cafe”. Not sure if there are others or if this one is unique. There is a cafe before you get to the actual auditoriums where you can grab a bite before or after the movie and there are small tables at each seat so you can enjoy a meal during the movie. We were not hungry at the time. When we left, we were ready for a late lunch though. I saw a restaurant that was new to us: Chicken Fiesta. The sandwiches at their web site looked delicious so we gave them a try. We were certainly satisfied even though we did not order the one we thought we did. Could only eat 1/2 of mine. It was also our first experience with yuca fries. They were tasty. Hubby said he would definitely go again. We returned to the campsite, fed Millie and brought her outside with us. She met us at the door looking worried. As forecast, our temps got to at least 90°F; hubby said it was 93°F in the car after the movie. The canopy and sun shield together with a portable fan keep our outdoor space very comfy. The storms are now predicted for tomorrow. I believe it is nap time…. Hope your day was as relaxing. Stay safe. Thanks for your visit. “Choose to do more than just exist, choose to live.” – Steve Maraboli
