We had a very heavy frost this morning. Has winter come early? Temperatures were extremely low in many parts of the country. This unseasonable weather was expected and there was some worry that electricity consumption would be very high during the peak hours from 7.am to 9.am……. So high the whole system could be overloaded and power cuts would ensue. So the Powers That Be urged folk to be very mindful of their electricity usage and cut back where possible. People must have heeded the concern and cooperated. All in all power shut downs were avoided.
