The green life

What a beautiful shade of green of the new beech leaves.
Another warm day, at least 22C (and just over a week ago it was struggling to make double figures), but I had a morning run, which was quite warm enough, though cooler in the woods.
In the afternoon I went to visit a friend and I should have been out gardening on return but we're going out this evening and I didn't want to have to change again. I will check on some of the young plants now the sun is off them.
I also got a load of ironing done, mainly cafe stuff.
