Day 1: The Warwickshire Bubble

Travelled down to Stratford-upon-Avon for an overnighter en route to Somerset. It was a long, tiring journey (lots of roadworks and slow traffic) and it was a relief to get there, put my feet up for an hour and watch Miss Marple with the air con on (god bless Prem Inn). Rock and roll!

The weather was a bit "meh" most of the way but the Warwickshire Bubble (as my friend Nicola and I call it) came to the rescue.

We chilled for a bit (literally) and then went to The One Elm, one of my favourite pubs in Stratford, for a couple of ales in the courtyard.

Had a very early night and I think I was asleep before my head hit the pillow.
