Lewis Pass tarn

After some careful consideration I opted to head home over the Lewis Pass and forgo a brief West Coast trip.  I'll be heading down to Okarito in early December and also up to Westport in September so I thought I'd do the sensible thing and simply head home the usual/shortest way.  I'm planning on 2 more nights before I get home on Wednesday - the first is here at the Lewis Pass tarn which was looking beautiful this evening.  Was hoping for a nice milky way shot over the tarn but the clouds have come in.  Ah well - sleep then tomorrow I'll likely head to Lake Rotoiti for a night.
