"Sisters in crime"

.... is what they call themselves. They even have t-shirts and a logo. I have no idea what they were up to today in the beautiful Quilters Hall... but she randomly sent me this. 

She was very excited because she realised her new clarinet piece was grade 8. We've had a lot of issues with clarinet teachers over the last two years and consequently has been circling for ages when she's been ready for it for ages. She was playing grade 8 stuff two teachers ago, and about to take her exam when that teacher left. Each of the four teachers she's had in the last two years have wanted to put their own stamp on things and it's meant her grade 8 never got done. But now it seems to be on, so she can crack on with it. She enjoys clarinet but is excited because when she's done her grade 8, she'll switch to saxophone lessons. She's doing so well on her saxophones and hasn't actually had any formal teaching. 

However she's also threatening to add flute to the mix!
